Somewhere along the line my hopes, my dreams, and ultimately my heart has changed, transforming my life in ways I could never have imagined. A New York Times article written in 1960 asked, “How can a nation drowning in a sea of luxury and mesmerized by the trivialities of the television screen have the faintest prospect of comprehending the plight of hundreds of millions in this world for whom a full stomach is a rare experience?”….and that’s still a good question for us today.
